GlobalSCAPE
GlobalSCAPE makes both CuteHTML, which I use for HTML editing, and CuteFTP, which I use for file transfers to my host. Both are excellent, easy to use programs. They are available for download as Shareware from the site.
Bradsoft
Bradsoft makes Topstyle, a CSS editing program. I am currently using Topstyle Lite, a low-featured version that came bundled with another program.
Adobe Photoshop
I am currently using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 (the newest version is 7.0... 6.0 was cheaper ;-) You can download a free trial of 6.0 from their site, but do be aware before you go through the time and trouble of downloading it, that you can not save files from the trial version.
